Summer Olympics
The children will learn all about the Summer Olympics during this theme and will get the opportunity to watch as Canada takes the gold medal in some events. (Hopefully!) We will have the official Summer Olympics streaming on the projector throughout the day during indoor free play so children can choose to watch some events if they wish. Children will also get to create their own medals and participate in their very own Appleseed Summer Camp Olympics.

The Amazing Race Around the World
Come join us as we race around the world completing challenges and learning about the amazing wonders of the world. We will explore countries and wonders like: Australia and the Great Barrier Reef, Belize and the Great Blue Hole, China and the Great Wall, Kenya and the animals found on African safaris, Columbia and the Amazon Rainforest and river, Egypt and the Sahara Desert and pyramids. Children will have fun pretending to be explorers in our drama corner and will enjoy racing along our world map in teams to the finish line.
Week 3 & 4 - July 15th to July 26th, 2024​
Down On the Ranch!
Join us as we enjoy learning about ranching, horses, cows, and rodeos these two weeks just in time for the RAM Rodeo visit in Erin on the weekend of July 20 & 21. Children will enjoy learning about the animals found on a ranch, the skills cowboys need to be successful in ranching, and how that all culminates to a fun rodeo event! Your child will have the opportunity to pretend to be cowboys and cowgirls and play on our ranch in our drama corner. Parents can purchase tickets for the RAM Rodeo show happening in Erin on July 20 & 21 and find more information at www.ramrodeoontario.com.
Week 7 & 8 - August 12th to August 23rd, 2024

Dinosaurs!
This one-week theme will focus on the awe-inspiring dinosaurs that once roamed this earth. Children will get the opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures, create their own dinosaur footprints, pretend to be archaeologist, and discover fossils from days past.
